Bhutan

On January 1st, 2013 I made my first solo adventure. Flying alone was worrisome enough, but to Thailand was even more terrifying – not because of where I was going, but because it was literally on the other side of the world. I had an 8 hour lay over in Jordan where I spent the time getting to and from an air port hotel and then onto Thailand to find my way to another hotel where TGS was apparently staying. In the moment it was tiring and worrisome. However, Bhutan made it worth every minute.

I will say the winding roads made me sick throughout the journey and the chilly air kept me colder than I would prefer, but Bhutan is too amazing for that to ruin our adventure.
